"All good things come to an end," says Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.

After eight seasons, the ladies of Wisteria Lane are finally saying goodbye. Though the final episode of Desperate Housewives doesn't air for a couple more months, the cast was already preparing for the end when we sat down with them to chat about how they don't want the series to end, their characters' future and if they'd be up for a D.H. movie…

"I would hate it if we all died," Felicity Huffman laughed when we asked about ending the series. However, her onscreen love, Doug Savant, already has an idea for the finale that involved just that type of plot line. "All five of the ladies in separate shots, take a gun to their heads, just like Mary Alice, and we just go black."

Yeeeah, that ending wouldn't cause any kind of uproar among fans. And according to Marcia Cross, an uproar is the last thing she wants to happen after the finale. " I hope they're satisfied," she tells us. "[Bree needs] to sober up and stop whoring around! I'd like to get it back together in a new and fresh and integrated away."

And while fans might want every storyline wrapped up when the series ends, Longoria is pulling for a more up-in-the-air twist. "I hope the ending is a little open-ended," she says. "Because we want the audience to be able to hope and wish for whatever they want for the characters."

But if that were the case, would we ever get storylines tied up via a Desperate Housewives movie? Maybe, but they might have to do it without Gaby.

"I'm not open to a movie, no," Longoria tells us. "I wouldn't even pay money to go to a movie when I could see these characters and these girls in my own home. It would be nice to close this chapter."
