Mariah Carey "Almost Incapable" of Talking About Whitney Houston's Death

Mariah Carey, like the hundreds of other mourners who attended Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday, is still grappling with the passing of the music icon.

"I'm almost incapable of talking about this still," the singer said during her appearance Tuesday on Good Morning America. "It's very heavy emotionally."

As for the ceremony that took place over the weekend at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., Carey called it "gorgeous and beautiful," adding that she was "very moved" by the service.

Carey's relationship with Houston, both personally and professionally, began back in 1998, when the two divas sang together on the hit single "When You Believe."

"There was always this supposed rivalry in the beginning," recalled Carey. "Then we did the duet and we became friends. I loved her. We all loved her. We were all inspired by her and may she rest in peace. Her legend will go on forever."
