After suspending production last Wednesday, Stephen Colbert & Co. are set to resume taping The Colbert Report tomorrow, Comedy Central's website confirms.

A rep for the network told E! News that production was suspended "due to unforeseen circumstances," but reports have suggested that Colbert took a break from filming because his 91-year-old mother Lorna is "seriously ill."

Colbert took to his Twitter account to thank fans for their support on Friday night.

"My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers," Colbert writes. "We are grateful and touched by your concern." The Emmy winner has not commented further on his mother's health.

The guest for Monday's program is novelist Ann Patchett, with new episodes of the show scheduled to air all week.
