Ethan Zohn is a survivor in more ways than one!

He was the winner of Survivor: Africa back in 2001, and now he's working to defeat Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As he prepares to undergo stem-cell treatment in the coming weeks, the 38-year-old and his girlfriend, Jenna Morasca (herself the champ of Survivor: The Amazon), decided to raise awareness for World Cancer Day, which is Saturday, in a unique way…

They dyed their hair pink!

Morasca, 30, tweeted as the duo colored their tresses yesterday. "Ethan is getting his hair CHOPPED & BLEACHED. So exciting," she wrote. "E is so nervous it's funny."

"Ethan picked a ballsy hair color!" Zohn's girlfriend said. Like her beau, Morasca went pink with her 'do, but she didn't opt for Mohawk like her man's.

In early November, after 20 months in remission, Zohn announced that his cancer had returned. Zohn told E! News the next month that he was on "a new drug called SGN-35, a more targeted therapy [that] only targeted the bad cancer cells inside my body."

Zohn, who also ran his second New York City Marathon in November, will be working with Cycle for Survival on Saturday to help raise money for cancer research. We love the hair, admire his gusto and wish him well.
