The Dilemma director hopped on Twitter Saturday to reveal that daughter Bryce Dallas Howard had given birth to a baby girl Thursday!
So what did the 30-year-old Help star name her latest bundle of joy?
Beatrice Jean!
"Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel Born Jan 19 2012 8lbs 6oz Bryce & Baby B are spectacular Daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear :-)," Ron tweeted. "Beatrice's arrival is hugely exciting for our family. Thanks for all the kind tweets folks."
This is the second child for Bryce and hubby Seth Gabel, who are parents to 4-year-old Theodore.
And the tiny tyke is already getting casting offers just three days after her birth (well, sort of).
"Ron, tell Bryce congratulations from our whole family. I'll be waiting to cast Beatrice in a few years!," M. Night Shyamalan, who directed Bryce in The Village, tweeted Sunday.
And Shyamalan wasn't the only industry person chiming in about Beatrice's birth.
Golden Globe-winning Help costar Octavia Spencer sent her love as well.
"Congrats Ron from Bryce's 'Help' family!," Spencer tweeted Sunday.
