And she lived happily ever after.

E! News has confirmed that Elizabeth Smart, the former Utah kidnapping victim who was taken at 14 years old and held captive for nine months, has found her prince charming and is engaged!

Smart's rep tells E! News, "Elizabeth got engaged this past weekend. A date for the wedding has not been set, but the couple anticipates early summer. While Elizabeth plans to continue to be very public with her child advocacy work, she wants to keep the details of her personal life private. She is excited to enter this next phase of her life."

So, unfortunately, no details on the groom-to-be.

This isn't the first spark of good news.

In July, Smart was hired as an on-air contributer for ABC News.

"She'll be available to all programs and platforms across the news division," says ABC News spokeswoman Julie Townshend.

"She'll help our viewers better understand missing person stories from someone with the perspective to know what a family experiences when a loved one goes missing."

Congrats on the engagement, Elizabeth!
