A New Girl, a Golden Girl, and a real Lady. It's not the likeliest of trios, but Zooey Deschanel, Betty White and Michelle Obama do have one big thing in common: today's their birthday!
The too-cute-for-words Golden Globe nominee turns 32 today, while the fashion icon FLOTUS herself is a lean, mean 48. But the real celebration honors belong to Betty, who today turns a whopping 90 years old.
And the nonagenarian is showing no signs of releasing her stronghold on Hollywood at the start of her ninth decade. Last night, NBC's televised tribute to the star, Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl, Betty White's 90th Birthday and Betty White's Off Their Rockers beat out other entries from comparable young TV upstarts (like Ashton Kutcher).
Funny, we thought it was the birthday girl who was supposed to get spanked. Not her competition. Happy birthday, ladies!
