Idris Elba vs. David Furnish: Who Wore it Best?

Golden Globe winning actor Elba and Elton John's partner both stepped out in the same shoes yesterday...but who rocked 'em better?

As it turns out, Idris Elba and David Furnish both have a thing for spiked shoes.

So much so that the Luther star (who took home a Golden Globe last night) and Furnish showed up on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday wearing trendy Christian Louboutin rollerball spiked shoes, and both paired the kicks with a black suit.

The shoes, which retail for about a grand a pop, have already gained quite the celebrity following. Kanye West, for example, was spotted wearing the spiked loafers last fall.

But considering that Elba and Elton John's partner's shoes are very similar (and we rarely get to do this sort of comparison with guys), we couldn't help but ask: Who rocked the spiked footwear better?

Did Elba's subdued suit paired with the spiked rollerball boat shoes give him the winning look? Or, did Furnish, who wore his Louboutins with a bold-print blazer take the cake?
