You really can feel it in the air. I know I know, it sounds cliché, but the week leading up to a big awards show just feels different. Everyone is the newsroom is scrambling to make sure they've watched all the movie.
As a reporter, the last place you want to be is on a podium interviewing a nominee without having seen their film or show.
I watched Drive the other night and absolutely loved it, The Descendants was also great. War Horse was a bit too long for my liking, but what an inspiring movie. I watched The Help on a plane ride a couple weeks ago; the acting was top notch, all of those women deserve to win an award!
I'll catch up on the TV side of things and the rest will be pretty easy. I'll be covering the NBC/E! Party for our Live Post Show, most of the stars have had a few drinks so the interviews are pretty entertaining. See you guys Sunday!
