As previously reported, the music man earned the respect of moms everywhere on New Year's Day when during his relaxing day at a Miami beach, a low-hovering helicopter sent a gust of wind across the sand and sent a large sun umbrella hurtling toward a 1-year-old girl named Shirel Nissim.
Enter the quick-thinking Chasez, who stopped the umbrella and saved this adorable little girl.
According to Shirel's mom—who didn't immediately recognize the pop star hero in her midst, thus explaining the lack of the usually requisite post-heroics photo—JC called her daughter "precious" and "adorable."
And judging by the adorable photos given to E! News from the proud mama, we have to agree! In the meantime, JC's rep told E! News that the singer wouldn't be commenting on his heroics. Hey, these actions speak louder than any words could, anyway. Way to go, JC.
