Katy Perry & Russell Brand: Moving Vans Spotted at Their House?

Is Russell Brand getting ready to move on?

Moving trucks were supposedly spotted this morning at the L.A. area home he once shared with Katy Perry...

But the so-called vans may not be anything that new to the property because we're hearing they're actually storage bins that have been there since June when the couple bought the $6.5 million Hollywood Hills abode.

Perry recently returned to the house after a holiday escape to Kauai, Hawaii. She arrived on the island shortly before Christmas, checking into the Villa at Secret Beach, the same luxurious estate where Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have vacationed.

Perry extended her trip after Brand filed for divorce on Dec. 30, says a source. "She is leaning on her little brother [David Hudson] for support and he is very protective of her and was with her the whole time," the source said.

While the paparazzi got pics of Perry on the beach, she was able to ditch them at night when she hit Tahiti Nui, a nearby restaurant and bar.

Perry's rep tells me she remained in Hawaii to ring in the New Year.

As we told you yesterday, Perry is expected to make her first public appearance next Wednesday at the People's Choice Awards.

No word yet on her Grammys plans. We can't imagine she won't be there because she's up for two awards on the big night.
