Just as we suspected, it looks like Santa did not bring Amber Portwood the freedom she was bargaining for.

The 21-year-old Teen Mom star will be spending Christmas (and New Year's) in jail, after she violated the terms of her probation and was subsequently arrested Dec. 16, according to Radar.

So what went down?

Portwood was accused of committing two new felonies: battery, due to an alleged fight with a girl at a restaurant, and possession of a controlled substance.

But that wasn't all.

The reality star also reportedly failed to: submit to drug tests, take anger-management classes, complete her GED (as ordered by the court) and in addition has yet to deposit $10,000 into her daughter Leah's college fund.

Needless to say, the judge in her case was not amused and promptly told Portwood she would remain behind bars until at least Jan. 27.

Although Portwood's attorney was seeking in-home detention for the troubled MTV star, prosecuting attorneys who were gunning for Portwood's incarceration were the obvious victors in this case.

As far as what sparked Portwood's bust in the first place, in an exclusive interview with E! News recently, Amber's brother, Shawn Portwood, said his sister missed her most recent probation hearing, causing authorities to go to her home.

According to Shawn, she was arrested after police went through her purse and found a few "old pills" that Amber said were from an earlier prescription. Because she couldn't show proof she ever had a prescription for the pills, however, Amber was busted and put in jail.

Unfortunately, spending the holidays in jail is nothing new for Amber.

This will be her second Christmas behind bars.

As for her daughter Leah, the tiny tot will remain in the custody of her father, Gary Shirley, at least for the time being.
