That's exactly what Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey is doing to pump himself up to host MTV's New Year's Eve Special alongside popstar Demi Lovato next Saturday, and we've got the video evidence to prove it! You are welcome.
We've got your exclusive first look at the MTV New Year's Eve Special promo, featuring a shirtless promise from the teen wolf himself...
"I hear if there's a full moon, a certain shirtless werewolf may run through Times Square naked," Posey teases in the promo, while doing push-ups, natch.
When someone off-camera, let's just dub him Buzkill Bob, informs Posey that there won't be a full moon on Saturday, Dec. 31, Posey says it ain't no thang. "He'll still probably take off his shirt. I hear he's been doing a lot of push-ups lately," he says. Yes, we're pretty sure this is going to be MTV's most watched (and most shirtless!) New Year's Eve Special ever.
"I love the MTV New Year's Eve Special and am excited to be co-hosting with Demi Lovato," Posey says in a statement. "I love the performances and there are some great acts lined up this year."
Posey will be taking a break from howling filming season two of his hit series (returning in Summer 2012), to host the special, which will feature performances by Lovato, Selena Gomez, J Cole, Jason Derulo and Mac Miller and Switched at Birth stars Vanessa Marano and Katie LeClerc will also be stopping by to join the festivities.
MTV's New Year's Eve Special will air live from Times Square on Dec. 31 at 11 p.m. on, you guessed it, MTV.
