Twitter'Tis the season to be jolly!
Kiefer Sutherland is certainly proof of that given this photo the actor posted on Twitter.
The shot, which shows the 24 star playfully lunging toward a Christmas tree, includes the words: "Just kidding."
Confused? Well, a little backstory...
You see, right around this time in 2006, Kiefer was working on a documentary about the band Rocco DeLuca and the Burden called I Trust You to Kill Me. While at a London hotel during the group's European tour, the Emmy winner decided to have a little fun at the expense of a defenseless Christmas tree as the above video shows.
Thankfully, no firs were harmed in the making of this year's holiday greeting.
