Of course, this won't be Brit's first time walking down the aisle...
As any fan knows, she was married, albeit briefly, to childhood pal Jason Allen Alexander back in 2004 before getting the union annulled.
Later that same year, she exchanged vows with backup dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she had two adorable sons, before they called it quits in 2006.
But enough dwelling on the past. We've got a romance to celebrate here, people!
May 2010: Britney publicly confirms she's dating Jason, her former agent, by having him escort her to the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
August 2010: Aloha! Britney and Jason enjoy a little R&R while vacationing in Hawaii.
Dec. 2, 2010: Britney celebrates her 29th birthday with Jason during a romantic getaway in Mexico.
April 2, 2011: Britney and Jason spend the weekend in Las Vegas. Along for the trip? The pop star's sons Sean and Jayden.
April. 25, 2011: Britney is spotted wearing a shiny bauble on her ring finger, fueling speculation that she and Jason are planning to get hitched. "It's not an engagement ring, not a story," her rep tells E! News.
Sept. 12, 2011: Jason is seen perusing rings at jeweler-to-the-stars Pascal Mouawad's showroom in Los Angeles. However, "Jason was there to discuss other matters with Pascal, but nothing relating to him personally," Britney's publicist tells E! News.
November 2011: Oops! Britney makes a small slip-up on a U.K. radio show, calling Jason her husband.
Dec. 15, 2011: Britney's rep insists that talk of her shooting down Jason's proposal is "entirely not true."
Dec. 16, 2011: E! News confirms that Britney and Jason are engaged just hours after the bride-to-be tweeted out this little hint: "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo." A source close to the singer, however, insists that the wedding "is not happening anytime soon."
