If you aren't still squealing like a schoolgirl over New Girl's Golden Globe nominations yesterday, we must ask: Are you really living?

Our favorite new comedy and comedy actress (Zooey Deschanel) got nods this year, and we hit the New Girl set to find out how Zooey and her talented cast mates are coping.

What we discovered? Tina Fey might want to hire a little extra security on the big night...

After doing an adorable little happy dance celebrating yesterday's news, Zooey told us she's most excited about coming face to face with her Best Actress competition: Tina Fey (30 Rock), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), Laura Dern (Enlightened) and Laura Linney (The Big C).

"[They are] amazing actresses. I just want to meet them all. I'm gonna creep out a little bit," Zooey says with a l laugh. She then demonstrated how on Globes night, she plans to slyly slide on up to Tina Fey in her trademark, Jess-like, awkward but hilarious way. Of course, the bigger question is how Tina might feel after Zooey's New Girl yanked a Best Comedy nomination away from 30 Rock. Zing!

New Girl is one of three freshman comedy series to be nominated this year (along with Enlightened and Episodes), which surely will bring some freshness to the 2012 Globes. It also almost takes the sting out of Parks and Recreation not getting nominated. Almost.

New Girl takes on Episodes, Enlightened, Glee and Modern Family on the big night, Jan. 15. Who you rooting for?
