But that's what's happening with Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as they team up to bring the funny (and the seriously cute) in The Five-Year Engagement.
These two are so ready to seal the deal, but life somehow keeps getting in the way—job offers, promotions, cross-country moves. And as their big day keeps getting pushed back, they somehow get more and more adorable. Maybe it has something to do with Jason's awesome choices in aprons?
The on-screen couple gets into all kinds of fun, such as giggling at a slideshow performance by Jason's BFF (Chris Pratt), who shamelessly celebrates the groom-to-be's past girlfriends. And seriously, what good is an engagement without casually getting shot in the leg with a crossbow by a little girl, or jumping into an inviting pile of snow together only to land on a hidden fire hydrant?
