America may have talent, but it no longer has Piers Morgan as a judge.

The CNN talk-show host announced last month that he would not be sitting beside Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel when America's Got Talent returns for its seventh season next year.

So could bazillionaire Apprentice host Donald Trump, who thinks he's partially responsible for Lady Gaga's huge success, be stepping in to fill Morgan's seat on the show?

AGT host Nick Cannon thinks Trump would make a perfect addition to the NBC reality competition show. (E! Online and AGT are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)

"We've seen him in The Apprentice, we've seen him judge businesspeople," Cannon told us at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball concert in L.A.. "And his opinion is so strong...We need somebody like that in that seat."

"I think he'd be someone good for me to bounce off of," he continued. "I always need somebody I can joust with in that position. It can't be someone who's too soft and too nice."

If Trump doesn't make it on as a judge, Cannon has a few other options for who could replace Morgan.

"I would say since Simon Cowell created the show, he'd be good," Cannon said. "I know he's busy though. I like the Howard Stern idea. Give me somebody to bicker with back and forth."

Now we want to hear from you. Who do you think should replace Piers Morgan of America's Got Talent? Sound off below.
