Twitter Daniel Day-Lewis looks like he will make a terrific Abraham Lincoln, honest.
The well-whiskered actor, who is currently filming Lincoln with Steven Spielberg, was photographed looking at ease and full of good cheer—unlike the 16th president who's known to look dour—by a shutterbug, who then posted the shot to his Twitter (though it appears to have since been taken down).
With an all-star cast including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field—not to mention the input of all-star historian (and Stephen Colbert fave) Doris Kearns Goodwin—the film has the potential to appeal to fans of American history fans, film geeks and the odd whisker aficionado.
And that's enough to put a smile on anyone's face, right?
