Consider Melissa McCarthy anything but your typical Hollywood beauty.

And while we rejoiced when the funnygal snagged her Emmy, it's no surprise girl's getting asked some typical H'wood questions with all of her recent success.

So, what's the gal got to say about her figure?

Let's just say she wins an Awful Emmy for her honest ‘tude.

"There's so many other things to worry about," admits McCarthy in an interview with Anderson Cooper. "I still worry about it, but I think, my kids are healthy, I've got a great husband and I go to work every day and do what I want."

Touché to the gal, and we couldn't agree more. After all, what's really more important—a happy family and a fab outlook on life or having a skinny-mini frame? The former, if you're askin' Mel.

Still, M.M. opens up on the Hollywood pressure to drop some pounds and admits she's not entirely content with her figure:

"I've been much thinner since my second baby. I'm still working on it. It's a work in progress."

And we love that Melissa comes clean on the work she's willing to put in (we're so over skinny celebs saying they never hit the gym), but don't think the hilarious actress stayed totally serious:

"I hope I wake up at, like, 94 pounds...But I don't think that's going to happen," quipped Mel.

And trust, we're sure if Melissa does decide to slim down, she'll maintain her hilarious ways—just look at Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and Jason Segel, who have all shed some major poundage but stuck to their signature style. Hmmm, maybe it is time for a female comedian to ride the weight loss train?

Then again, we adore Melissa exactly how she is and think her truthful ‘tude is so refreshing in Tinsel Town.

So, what say you, Awful readers? Do you admire Melissa's worry-free outlook?
