NCIS isn't usually known for its au courant, zeitgeisty casting, but you can't beat the timing on this one! The bad timing, that is.

We're pretty sure if Robert Wagner had known he would once again be thrust into the public consciousness with the reopening of the investigation into his iconic late wife Natalie Wood's death, the last place he would want to turn up is in a guest-starring role on a show like NCIS, but that's just where he'll be tonight.

Wagner will star as Anthony DiNozzi Sr., the father of Michael Wetherly's character, who's suspected of murder after he wakes up with no memory of his previous night's activities and the body of a dead woman in the trunk of his car.

Art-life parallels never seemed so uncomfortable. How's that for must-see TV?
