We know there's pressure on celebrities to drop whatever baby weight they inevitably (and imperatively) gain as soon as possible, but we didn't think they'd go so far as to start before the baby was even born!

If Us Weekly is to be believed, then Jessica Simpson is certainly planning for just that, and is reportedly already in talks with Weight Watchers to be their newest celebrity pound-shedder once baby makes three—and in exchange for dropping "a significant amount of weight" on the points-based plan, Simpson would stand to make a whopping $4 million.

But is it true? Could the superstar known for promoting body acceptance really be in negotiations to make her pregnant visage the new face of weight loss?

Better double check that motherly intuition, because this rumor is…

So false! And order is once again restored to the universe.

Despite Us Weekly's supposedly exclusive claim that Simpson, currently expecting her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson, had long planned to serve as the spokeswoman of the diet system, a source close to Simpson categorically denies the claim.

"There is no Weight Watchers deal," the source told E! News.

The tabloid had originally claimed that Simpson had planned to sign on with the company to lose the weight she'd gained over the past few years, "But then she got pregnant. So this was the perfect compromise."

Simpson allegedly would have one year to get back in fighting form.

Well, if you ask us, the only weight Simpson should be concerned with dropping right now is the poundage of whoever gave the tabloid that false story.
