She's not excited and she just can't hide it.
Bonnie Pointer of the Pointer Sisters has been immortalized in a snarling mug shot after getting collared early Friday for felony drug possession.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore tells E! News the 61-year-old Pointer was a passenger in a car with two other people when the vehicle was stopped shortly after midnight for a bad brakelight.
Officers peeked inside the car and turned up what they believed to be "rock cocaine," added Whitmore. Hence, the mug shot.
Bonnie, who cofounded the chart-topping group with sisters Ruth, Anita and the late June (who had her own drug issues) before leaving for a middling solo career in 1977, was booked and released on $10,000 bail. A court date has been set for Jan. 17.
Guess they freed her from her freedom all right.
