We knew her postwedding plans included going back to school, but singing?!

Twilight's Nikki Reed called into On Air With Ryan Seacrest this morning to chitchat about some vampires, but more importantly, to debut "Now That I Found You," a duet with hubby Paul McDonald. Sigh, so romantic!

And also kinda random. How did this happen?

Well, aside from being married to a singer, Reed told Seacrest that it "happened about a month ago. Paul basically lives with a guitar strapped around his body, and he just walks around the house plays stuff; I've experimented with writing lyrics for other people in the past.

"He recorded the music, and on the way back from Europe, a week and a half ago," she continued. " I just sat and wrote lyrics to his music. Then we went in this Saturday, and recorded it with Andre Harris."

The song opens with McDonald serenading his lady with, "I hope your eyes just smile forever, only once I've told a lie / I hope these days go on forever and always right by your side / You're all I want to know for the rest of my life."

We have to wonder, is this a one-time thing? Well, according to Reed, her other half doesn't want it to end.

"He's really supportive and encourages everything, so he wants to be a superteam. I'm a little more shy. We've done some open mics together. I probably will end up doing it."

What do you think of Nikki's singing chops? Sound off in the comments!
