We imagine Ryan Rottman is breathing a sigh of relief right about now.

The star of Nickelodeon's now-canceled Gigantic saw drunken driving charges against him dismissed today after he agreed to cop to a reduced plea of alcohol-related misdemeanor reckless driving.

The good news? He won't face any jail time.

Instead Los Angeles City Attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan tells E! News that as part of the deal with prosecutors, the 27-year-old Rottman was placed on three years' probation and fined $390. Additionally, the court will require him to take a three-month alcohol education course.

The TV hunk got into this mess in July when he got behind the wheel and jumped a curb in Hollywood. According to an LAPD spokesman, the incident was witnessed by L.A.'s Finest who subsequently noticed he smelled of alcohol and gave him a field sobriety test, which he flunked. He then blew a 0.19 on a Breathalyzer—more than twice California's legal limit.

A lawyer for Rottman, who also appeared in 2008's The House Bunny, was unavailable for comment.
