Jimmy Kimmel's going to bring the White House down.

The talk host gets to face the very politicians, including President Barack Obama, he makes fun of on a nightly basis as he's been chosen to host the next annual White House Correspondents Dinner, which is basically just roasting our Prez and his cohorts.

The last host, Seth Meyers killed it, making Obama chuckle (even as he sat burdened with the secret that Osama bin Laden was about to be caught.)

So what's Jimmy saying about the gig?

"I look forward to being a part of the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner," the comic said in a statement. "I love dinner."

There's no doubt Jimmy will bring the jabs, aimed at government officials and, well, anyone in the audience. (Remember Seth tearing apart Donald Trump?)

Good luck Jimmy!
