Andrea Roth will play Catherine, Andrew's smart and conniving ex-wife who comes to town to cause trouble

Andrew Martin's (Ioan Gruffudd) much-discussed ex-wife Catherine is coming to town, y'all, and you best believe she's going to stir up some trouble for the already troubled Martin family. 

So which Rescue Me star is taking on this diabolically delicious role?

Rescue Me star Andrea Roth is set to recure as Catherine, Andrew's ex-wife and Juliet's (Zoey Deutch) mother on the hit CW series.

 

Catherine is described as "beautiful, sexy and intimidating," and will most likely cause trouble for Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar), especially if you take into consideration the fact that Andrew cheated on her with Siobhan. Ouch!

Smart, conniving and vindictive when she wants to be, Catherine returns to New York from Miami and immediately causes turmoil for the Martin family. 

Roth recently appeared on Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and played Harper Stanhope on an episode of Lost. 

Ringer airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the CW.
