Derek Hough was in a very minor finder bender last night outside the weekly Dancing With the Stars postshow party at STK.

There were no injuries and his Audi was left with just a little scratch.

Even so, Hough almost called the police!

"He hit me, and then he tried to kind of see me, and he pretty much nearly hit me again!" Hough told me this morning before he and partner Ricki Lake started practicing for next week's show. "He gets out of his car and he was like, 'Dancing With the Stars! Derek Hough!'

Hough wasn't flattered. "I was kind of contemplating whether to call the cops or not, but I decided not to. I didn't want to make a scene in front of the paparazzi," he said.

Thankfully, the accident wasn't anything serious because Hough's had enough pain to deal with since injuring his shoulder last week. "It's getting much better," he said. "It's funny, because when I hurt, it's when I'm doing something stupid like putting on shirt. I throw one on and I'm like, Boom! Nevermind, still not 100 percent yet!"

Sounds like the perfect excuse to get Mr. Hough dancing without his shirt on. We don't want him to suffer anymore than he already has.

After this season of Dancing wraps, Hough needs to do some reshoots on his upcoming dance flick, Cobu 3D. "I was also planning to on doing a Broadway show actually," he said. "Unfortunately, the scheduling didn't work out. That's something I definitely want to do."

And I know y'all are wondering what Hough is saying about Lauren Conrad.

How about nada?

"Definitely for the past couple of years, I've just kind of been very private and I will continue to be," he said. "I just try not to say anything."
