It looks like Sam Poueu is slowly becoming the biggest winner.

A little less than two months after surviving a horrific four-story fall from a San Francisco building, the former Biggest Loser star now finds himself in a rehabilitation facility.

"He is undergoing an intense rehabilitation schedule. His recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. He has been blessed with a wonderful medical team," Poueu's family and his fiancée, Stephanie Anderson, said in a statement to People. "Witnessing his daily progress is the most hopeful and inspirational experience. Tough days are still ahead—but, like always, he is working hard toward a full recovery. We are thankful for your continued thoughts, prayers and support."

The 25-year-old Poueu himself also released a statement to the magazine regarding all that he has been through in the wake of his accident.

"Words can't express how grateful I am for all the love, support and prayers I've received in the past six weeks, all of which have been instrumental in my healing and recovery process, and in keeping my spirits up," it read.

It was on Sept. 3 when Poueu was accidently locked out on the rooftop of a friend's apartment. When he tried to climb down a fire-escape ladder, he lost his footing and plummeted several stories, ending up in the hospital in critical condition. Poueu sustained severe injuries to his head and pelvis, torn ligaments, a punctured lung and a broken leg. Three weeks later he was taken out of ICU.
