Pippa Middleton Stops Flashing the Flesh at Charity Bash—but Did She Score a Date With Gwyneth?!

World's most famous sister dons a far more demure number than usual while attending a fundraiser for breast cancer research

Is Pippa Middleton taking heed of her—granted rather miniscule—contingent of critics?

Just last week, when attending a London charity bash, the world's most famous little sister donned a deeply plunging red hot number that was embraced by fashionistas across the globe but understandably caused some of the staid aristocratic company she's been increasingly keeping to raise an eyebrow, retract those outstretched pinkies and cause a monocle or two to crash to the floor.

So Pippa—whether through consultation or merely fashion whimsy (we're guessing the latter)—mixed it up when she hit the town last night, slipping into a much more modest, but no less form-revealing number…

This time around, while attending London's Two Many Women event, a fundraiser for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Pippa wore the Elle botanical maxi dress, a gown designed by Dannii Minogue's Project D line, which set her back $1,028 (and yes, it's still available).

While much more demure than her previous number, the body-skimming gown still showed off the curves that made her famous—her shimmying around the dance floor with abandon probably achieved a similar effect.

On her arm last night was not beau Alex Loudon, but instead it proved to be a girls' night out, with Pippa bringing along a girlfriend, Katie Readman—who, incidentally, works for the Pippa and Kate Middleton-favored designer Issa.

In any case, while Pippa represented high society at the bash, she was joined by real royals (Sarah Ferguson, Princess Tatiana of Greece), royal hangers-on (Prince Harry's ex flame Florence Brudenell-Bruce), and, of course, stars themselves (Sienna Miller, the host of the night, Gemma Arterton and The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood).

The night included an auction, which allowed attendees to bid on once-in-a-lifetime prizes in order to raise money for breast cancer research.

Among the bounty up for grabs? A personal cooking lesson at Gwyneth Paltrow's house and a dinner date with Scarlett Johansson, which reportedly ultimately went for a whopping $20,500.

No word on the lucky winners of either prize.
