Even some "Funky Cold Medina" won't make Tone Loc look fly right now.

The rapper, born Anthony Smith, was charged in July with assault weapon possession and domestic violence, and today the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced that he pleaded no contest to one count each of possession of an assault weapon, a Colt AR-15 Sporter, and corporal injury to his child's mother.

So what's he facing?

Burbank Superior Court Judge Patrick Hegarty sentenced the 45-year-old to one day in county jail (whoa now), three years of formal probation, 30 days community service and 52 weeks of anger management counseling.

The charges stemmed from a domestic violence incident on June 18. During the investigation, Burbank Police Department officers discovered that Smith was in possession of an unregistered assault weapon, but before you start jumping the gun (pun intended), the firearm was not used in the domestic assault.
