Bring out the Kleenex!
On this morning's episode of The Talk, guest cohost Kris Jenner mentioned her marriage to the late Robert Kardashian Sr., which got the rest of the ladies into discussing love, marriage and children.
That's when Sara Gilbert opened up about her recent breakup with longtime girlfriend Allison Adler, and things got (even more) emotional.
"I feel like I don't know if marriage is all it's cracked up to be. I mean, I've never been married. I was in a long relationship and, you know, I see people that, I mean it's emotional for me because we're not together, but I wouldn't trade that time. It's such a special time in my life," Gilbert said while holding back tears.
"But then you see people in their 70s and you wonder, How do they do it? How do they make it last? And I would like to think that I can."
At this point almost everyone's crying, including us. Then she mentions her children with Adler, 6-year-old son Levi and 4-year-old daughter Sawyer.
"I will say that we have beautiful children together, a lot of love for each other," she says. "You do continue in to the next chapter together in a different way."
