Love, love—they do!

Paul McCartney has been made an honest man once more, as he and longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London today at, as promised, the Old Marylebone Town Hall, the very same location at which he wed his first beloved wife, Linda, back in 1969.

So, how'd this trip to the altar match up?

Well, this time around, Paul and Nancy wasted no time in drawing out their not-so-long engagement—this was actually the second weekend they were allowed to wed after biding the requisite 16-day waiting period after they gave notice at the registry office last month.

Preparations for their big day began Friday afternoon, when a white tent was erected on the grounds of the former Beatle's home, and vans from party and decoration companies filled his driveway.

Along to witness the vow swap between the 51-year-old New York businesswoman-heiress and the 69-year-old musical legend were McCartney's daughters Stella, Mary and Heather, son James, and youngest child Beatrice, his 7-year-old daughter with wife No. 2, Heather Mills.

As for Nancy's side of the church town hall, her 19-year-old son Arlen, from a previous marriage, was there to support her, as was cousin (yep) Barbara Walters, who was absent from The View Friday, presumably to accomodate her travel.

Though neither side has been particularly talkative during their engagement—or even throughout their four-year relationship, this was reportedly the first of two celebrations planned for their nuptials.

While the Brits were out in full force for this London affair, the duo is reportedly going to hold a second gathering, if not ceremony, in New York this fall, where Nancy's family can join in the fun.

It's unclear if the newlyweds will be heading off on a honeymoon, but the wedding ceremony ties up a rather public and busy week for the inseparable duo, who went from celebrating Stella's birthday, to proudly turning up at the front row of her Paris Fashion Week show, to reuniting with Ringo Starr for the Martin Scorsese-directed documentary on the life of George Harrison. They even managed to squeeze in a rather cheeky PDA while coming out of a London gym.

Ah, save it for the honeymoon, you two. And congrats!
