Damn, it feels good to be a dork.

That's what we're imagining the cast and crew of Fox's New Girl is currently saying as the comedy starring Zooey Deschanel has just received a full season pickup after airing just two episodes. Hooray! Who wants to celebrate with us by sitting down for a viewing of Curly Sue with Jess and the boys?

So how many episodes of the adorkable series will viewers be gifted with?

24 glorious episodes! Just think of all the wonderful shenanigans Jess (Deschanel), Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Winston (Lamorne Morris) can get into in 24 episodes!

Ordering an additional 11 episodes was basically a no-brainer for Fox as New Girl has been delivering the ratings, even besting its lead-in Glee. In fact, New Girl premiered as the network's highest-rated fall sitcom debut in 10 years. Not bad for a show about a dork in glasses, eh?

"We love the charming Zooey Deschanel and the entire cast, we're knocked out with the work that (creator) Liz Meriwether and the whole staff is doing and we are really psyched about the coming episodes in the pipeline," Kevin Reilly, president of Entertainment at Fox, said in a statement. "It's great that audiences have responded so positively so far and we're confident that even more people will embrace the show—and more comedy on Fox—this season."

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
