Kim Kardashian

Kris Humphries put a ring on it—then Kim Kardashian took it right back off.

But it's not what you think. They're not fighting, and yes, she loves the ring.

Still, Kim  doesn't always like to rock her $1 million engagement ring or her diamond wedding band from her honey, especially during two occasions.

So what are they?

Kim says she knows the rumors will start when she gets snapped by photogs sans her engagement ring and $200,000 wedding band, but there is definitely no trouble in paradise, she told Women's Wear Daily while promoting her new Belle Noel jewelry collection for Pascal Mouawad. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just doesn't like to wear jewelry while sweating at the gym or while she sleeps.

"I don't wear it to work out," Kim told the magazine. "I see people that work out all the time with their jewelry on. I was leaving the gym yesterday and I didn't have my [wedding] ring on and there [were] all these photographers taking pictures and I said to my sister, "Just watch, Kourtney. You will see a story [bearing the headline] 'Kim Without Her Ring: Trouble in Paradise.' And Kourtney said, 'But you are in your gym clothes. Who would ever wear their ring to the gym?' and I said, 'You'd be surprised.' I see women coming to the gym with earrings on. I can't do it."

Kim doesn't hit the pillow at night with her jewels on either.

"For some reason I need it all off, though people do. They sleep with their earrings on," she said.

Relive the moment Kim and Kris exchanged their wedding bands on E!'s two-part special: Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event  premieres Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and concludes Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
