Injured Miranda Cosgrove on the Mend and...Learning Chinese?!

Update on how iCarly starlet is recovering one month after an accident left her ankle broken

It's been about a month since Miranda Cosgrove cut her summer tour short after a scary bus accident left the actress-singer with a broken ankle

So how's the iCarly star coming along?

"She's getting better," iCarly actress Jennette McCurdy told us this weekend at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in L.A. "She's always so bubbly."

"She's a very positive person," added fellow iCarly costar Jerry Trainor. "She's trying to keep busy. She's teaching herself Mandarin."

Really?!

"No," Trainor laughed. "I'm just trying to raise the bar. Give her something to shoot for."

McCurdy has plans to see Cosgrove this week. "We're visiting her with some friends.  We're going to bring her food from her favorite restaurant, and we're going to watch some movies," she said.

As for when Cosgrove is expected to be back in tip-top shape, iCarly actor Nathan Kress dished, "We're set to start back in January, so everything will be great by then. She'll be fine and we'll be ready to go."
