According to the latest reports, the Transformers star supposedly suffered a "public meltdown" at a Los Angeles hot spot the other night, not only spitting water on his date but also taking aim at Marilyn Manson before storming out.
Here's what went down.
An eyewitness tells Life & Style magazine the 25-year-old actor and his gal-pal, Karolyn Pho, were sitting in the same vicinity as the shock rocker during Friday's Belvedere Red party at Hollywood nightclub The Box when LaBeouf reportedly began acting like a human water spout.
"Shia picked up a water bottle and shot a mouthful of water all over his seated date's legs," the eyewitness said. "Then he put more water in his mouth and started spitting it all over his tablemates, including Marilyn Manson. He seemed wasted."
The "Eat Me, Drink Me" crooner tried to make nice, reportedly offering LaBeouf a fist bump.
A source tells E! News, however, that the altercation wasn't so much between Shia and Marilyn, but a friend of the Antichrist Superstar singer and ended up with Shia being physically restrained and forced to leave the venue.
According to the source, LaBeouf and Manson arrived at the event right after each other and were seated at adjacent tables.
"Everything seemed to be fine and everyone was having a great time," the eyewitness tells E! News. "All of a sudden, you saw someone go flying at someone else and security jumped in to break it up."
The situation escalated when Manson's cohort told the reportedly intoxicated LaBeouf to settle down, according to our witness. The two lunged at each other but luckily security was on hand to separate them before any fisticuffs broke out.
"Security pinned his hands behind his back and forced him out. His girlfriend was really upset and running behind him," adds the source. "I think the worst part for him wasn't getting escorted out, but that he fell to the barricade outside on the red carpet and he was on the ground. It was all really dramatic.

Both LaBeouf and Manson's pal agreed to let bygones be bygones and no charges were filed.
"I think it was just a misunderstanding that caused the altercation," the eyewitness notes. "When people are drinking, things get taken out of context."
Life & Style reported that Marilyn "looked shocked and annoyed" but remained seated throughout the whole affair.
Either way, it wouldn't be the first time the erstwhile Mutt Williams got into a rumble, having been thrown out of a Sherman Oaks, Calif., watering hole last February after a tussle.
A rep for LaBeouf, however, denied he was bounced from the bash and said the whole thing is much ado about nothing.
"Shia actually left early as planned," his publicist tells E! News. "He went to see one of the bands performing in the showcase and left after they finished. Exiting through a crowded room was apparently misinterpreted. No altercation occurred."
