The bar for Kim Kardashian's fairy-tale wedding to Kris Humphries was always going to be set high.

But the bride herself has spoken out about her big day to People magazine—which will feature exclusive photos of the ceremony in its Sept. 5 issue, out this Friday—and in addition to giving us another view of her gorgeous custom Vera Wang wedding gown (looking good, Kim!), delivered her verdict on the heart-warming, star-studded affair.

"It was like we were in heaven," she told People.

And while it's all mostly about the bride, Kris also shared his opinion on the wedding—so, was it just as heavenly for him?

Sounds like it to us!

"I'm going to remember how perfect it was," he told People.

A lot of that perfection is thanks, no doubt, to wedding planner extraordinaire Sharon Sacks, who worked with Kim and Kris to get both tradition and glamour into the ceremony.

"Kim loves black and white and so does Kris," she told the magazine. "They have this Hollywood royalty feeling and the black and white represented formality. But tradition was very important to them."

As for Kim's wedding gown—one of three custom-designed Vera Wang numbers she wore throughout the night, and the one featured on People's cover—the E! reality starlet said that in wearing it, she "felt like a princess."

And looked as good as any duchess!

Still, as fab as the ceremony was—as we've already seen, thanks to E!'s exclusive wedding highlights and reception videos—that wasn't the goal for the newlywed couple.

"Glam aside, that wasn't our main goal. It was really about our family and each other," Kim said.
