Hollywood's leading ladies have been embracing some fabulous hues—namely, purple and turquoise—on the red carpet lately. When actress Jessica Chastain stepped out to the Help premiere on Monday in an oh-so-pretty plum Oscar de la Renta strapless gown with turquoise drop earrings, the fashion set was all abuzz about how her look was so similar to Cameron Diaz's Christian Dior confection at the 2007 Costume Institute Gala.

But wait, Cammie's not the only other star who has rocked this eye-popping color combo…

At the Smurfs NYC premiere last month, Modern Family's Colombian momshell Sofia Vergara garnered rave reviews when she donned a purple Missoni column gown with bright-blue ear candy.

And you know fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker has been there, done that, too, natch. Back in 2007, SJP wore this flirty tiered dress with drop earrings, fishnets and red peep-toe pumps to a Sex and the City event—which, by the way, resembles Chastain's ensemble more so than Cam's.
