Lindsay Lohan: Too-Casual Court Ensemble a Fashion Felony?

Embattled starlet shows up to court in a maxidress and platform pumps. Just because it's a progress report doesn't mean she can go casual, right?

So Lindsay Lohan showed up for a progress report today to prove how serious she's taking her probation. 

But the embattled starlet seemed to take her court couture pretty lightly...

Linds skipped the professional suit and instead arrived in a low-cut, bodyhugging black Stella & Jamie maxidress with a trendy Alaïa corset belt and towering, bow-topped Christian Louboutin platform heels (which made their second appearance in court, BTW).

The actress topped it off with a drapey Stella & Jamie coat, two necklaces and oversize Chloe sunglasses.
