Well, it wouldn't be the first time love blossomed on set. And what with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony having shockingly announced their separation three whole days ago, it was about time rumors of infidelity popped their head up and said hello.

Enter Latino überhottie William Levy, who costarred in J.Lo's steamy "I'm Into You" music video and who's known as the Cuban Brad Pitt. Which must be a worrying nickname for even the most confident hubby to hear.

In any case, rumors abounded over the weekend that it wasn't simply on screen that Levy was playing J.Lo's love interest, reports that only gained traction once it was discovered that he had recently been through a divorce (and weathered cheating rumors) of his own.

So…is this simply a coincidence, or did their undeniably caliente chemistry have something to do with J.Lo's split? Gossip hounds, draw near, because this rumor is…

So false!

A rep for Levy tells E! News that while the duo worked together in the music video, the hanky-panky was strictly business as usual.

"The rumors of an affair between William and J.Lo are not true, the rumors originated from a tabloid reporter in Mexico City," the rep said. "Their brief encounter was strictly professional along with 19 crew members on the set of her music video."

Fair enough. But until Lopez or Anthony start speaking publicly about the cause of their split (and not just in flirty midconcert banter), it's undoubtedly—and unfortunately—the first of many such potential escándalos headed their way.
