American Idol's Pia Toscano Signs With Interscope Records

After getting the boot way too early on the show, the young singer strikes back with her own deal

Pia Toscano proves that you don't have to win the reality show to make it big in the industry!

(Although we're sure appearing on it gave her some major help.)

A spokesperson for the singer confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Toscano has signed a recording deal with Interscope Records.

Funny, we kind of saw that coming.

Her first single, "This Time"—a track by Ester Dean—will drop July 12, and her debut album will be released later this year.
