Katy Perry's shelving the cleavage to play nerd supreme Kathy Beth Terry, a 13-year-old with no friends on Facebook. But it's only temporary. The headgear, glasses, bad hair and bleached denim in this viral clip are all to promote Katy's upcoming music video for "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," premiering June 14.
And it seems to be working: Kathy's already up to 67,000 friends on Facebook and she's got 20,000 followers on Twitter. Guess it pays to be a dork these days!
