Add mother-in-law to Sarah Palin's résumé.

Track Palin, the eldest of her five children, got hitched to high school sweetheart Britta Hanson recently in a small and, if the snowy backdrop in the wedding photo is an indicator, chilly ceremony for which fleece and denim were the fabrics of choice.

But the couple's parents are definitely feeling all warm and cozy inside.

"Our families couldn't be happier!" Todd and Sarah Palin and Rev. Duane and Elizabeth Hanson said in a joint statement to People.

"These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We're tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed."

Track, 22, had been dating Britta, 21, since high school. She is currently a nursing student at the University of Alaska and Track plans to join her after the upcoming commercial fishing season. He was deployed to Iraq for a year after high school as an Army Reservist.

"The Hanson and Palin families are ecstatic and proud that Britta and Track married in one of our favorite spots in America, spectacular Hatcher Pass, Alaska," the families continued, throwing a little marketing state pride in there for good measure. "It's a site we've all shared fun memories of skiing, snowboarding, hiking and snowmachining."

They say a larger party and celebratory ski weekend will be held this winter at the Alyeska Ski Resort.
