"I'm single," the Twi-star said last night at the premiere of his new romantic comedy Love, Wedding, Marriage. "I've been really busy so it's really kind of tough to be in an industry where you're constantly flying around and moving around...I'm really looking forward to getting married one day and having a family. Whoever that is, if it's someone from the past, someone in the future, I'm more than welcoming for it."
He and McCord were most recently seen together earlier this month in NYC at the off-Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Last month, the two were spotted at LAX hopping on a plane headed for Vancouver, where Lutz was finishing up Breaking Dawn.
The 26-year-old actor also dished on the trouble of dating in the public eye.
"It's tough to have a personal life," he said. "I'm a relationship type of guy and you know if you want to go on a date with your girlfriend or even with friends or something, stuff gets misconstrued and it's really tough to have a relationship or have a life."
One thing Lutz misses from the days before the throngs of screaming Twilight fans?
"When I was in Vegas, I used to love just swimming in the pool with all the ladies," he said. "Now it's like, all you get to do is sit in the corner and you can't really frolic around or someone will write something."
