Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon

It's official! "Dem Babies," as Mariah Carey affectionately calls them, are finally here.

The 41-year-old songstress and hubby Nick Cannon welcomed a baby girl and boy Saturday morning in Los Angeles, E! News has confirmed.

Thinking this was just another false alarm, Carey was reportedly calm as her hubby drove her to the hospital Thursday night. However, the Grammy winner (and belly painter) soon realized this was the real deal, giving birth to the couple's 5-pound, 3-ounce baby girl and then her brother (weighing in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces) via C section.

"Congratulations to Mariah & Nick on the birth of #dembabies!!, a rep wrote on Carey's Twitter page. "Born, April 30th at 12:07pm ET. Mommy, Daddy & #dembabies are all doing fine!"

Ironically, the babies were born on the couple's wedding anniversary, which Cannon addressed in a sweet tweet to fans.

"My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!," Cannon tweeted, "I won't ever be able to top this!".

While the proud parents have yet to name their children, they plan to have nurseries on both coasts—in New York and Los Angeles.

Carey and Cannon wed April 30, 2008 in the Bahamas, following a whirlwind romance.

Congrats to the couple!
