Remember all those times you wondered, "What would it be like if I had six penguins living with me and I transformed my apartment into a winter wonderland...at the expense of my day job?"

It's a pretty common thing to wonder about, right? Well thankfully, Jim Carrey is here in the new trailer for Mr. Popper's Penguins, and it really serves as a cautionary tale about what happens when you cohabitate with arctic fowl. Check it out.

As you could probably imagine, penguins leave a lot to be desired in the table manners arena. As we see, once grace has wrapped up, it's a free-for-all, a wild melee of beaks, wings and cutlery.

Carrey plays Tom Popper, a businessman who inherits six penguins (a mix of live animals and CGI critters) and quickly sees his professional prowess starts to unravel. But it's a love-hate relationship. While on the one hand Popper's clearly upset at having to share a bed with his new roommates and even goes so far as to make a grand speech about how he doesn't want them in his life, he seems to come around in the end. Or it could just be that keeping your thermostat down around freezing can have a negative impact on your brain.

In any event, all those hard feelings are seemingly washed away with that classic cure-all for a bad mood: a dance number! We're guessing that's where the CGI penguins took over.

Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Mr. Popper's Penguins hits theaters June 17.
