While several big names made it through easily, one superstar hit the bench early.
To start, tennis star Andy Roddick took home the match against soccer phenom Cristiano Ronaldo, grabbing 54 percent of the votes. David Beckham also easily did away with Hilary Duff's hubby Mike Comrie, scoring 81 percent to the NHL star's 19. But the opening round wasn't without upset.
Seems Tiger Woods' image hasn't recovered from his indiscretions, as pro surfer Laird Hamilton had the golfer packing up his tees and heading to the clubhouse after he brought in 57 percent of the votes. Sorry, Tiger, better luck next time.
