Is That Courtney Love (or Reasonable Facsimile) Back on Twitter and Attacking Chelsea Handler?

After getting naked and then getting sued, Courtney Love has decided to give Twitter another try, going after a slew of celebs, including another feisty lady: Chelsea Hander.

Or has she? Is the person purporting to be Love and writing under the handle  cloverxxxlove the real deal?

The person tweeting as Love kicked things off with the tweet: "@chelseahandler i think you are a leathery idiot and rude. and beyond stupid."

More shots aimed @chelseahandler include "mainstream zzzzlister with 0 talent" and accusations of having a "man face" and trying to be funny by "carrying around a midget."

Sound like one of Love's random, seemingly senseless rambles—or perhaps a side effect of her snorting Kurt Cobain's ashes? Actually, there is a possible explanation: Handler has been getting hot and heavy with Love's ex, handsome hotelier Andre Balazs.

As Gawker points out, cloverxxxlove has "an encyclopedic knowledge" of Love's life and a remarkable ear for her her tweet rants.

For the record, even Love's manager isn't sure if she's really behind the posts, telling E! News that the Hole lady "did have a regular account, but it has been inactive for months now."

Love shut her tweets down in January after she was sued by a designer for making "malicious" threats, including labeling the woman an "asswipe nasty lying hosebag thief" that would be "hunted til dead." Love recently settled that case for a reported $430,000.

Handler, who is traveling and whose E! show is dark this week, has yet to take the bait. She hasn't responded via Twitter and her rep hasn't commented.

Aside from Handler, cloverxxxlove has some colorful comments directed toward Kanye West, Piers Morgan, Carrie Fisher, director Brett Ratner, Arianna Huffington and Russell Crowe, with cloverxxxlove celebrating their "great platonic dudely bro down friendship."

And at one point she even asks not to be listed under the hashtag #trainwreck.

Real or not, good luck with that.
