Ashley Greene tweets that pooch Marlo has landed in the hospital after being attacked

We've got some not-so-fun news from Breaking Dawn.

Ashley Greene's fox terrier, Marlo, was rushed to the hospital earlier today...

Details are few, but Greene tweeted this afternoon, "Everyone please please please pray for marlo. A dog attacked her. :-( she's in the hospital"

About two hours later, she tweeted, "Marlo is now stable. No damaged organs. She just may need surgery for damaged muscle. You guys are so amazing for the thoughts and prayer."

Greene, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise, has been in Vancouver shooting the Breaking Dawn movies. No word if Marlo was actually attacked on set.

Greene got her pooch almost two years ago after seeing her photo online. "I like to think she's my constant amidst constant change. She's the one thing that's there," she told People in June.

In January, she got Marlo a little a brother, a toy fox terrier named Theo. She tweeted a pic of the two with the message, "How adorable are they!? They make my day start and end with smiles."

Here's wishing Marlo a speedy recovery.
